CoffeeTalk Jazz Marketing
A Legacy in Print. A Future in Motion.
From the CoffeeTalk Archives Recorded at CoffeeTalk Studios in 2015, this legacy interview features guitarist, producer, composer, and recording artist Terry Wollman. For nearly fifteen years, CoffeeTalk Jazz Magazine served as one of the industry’s respected platforms dedicated to celebrating the artistry, stories, and careers of independent musicians, rising talents, and internationally recognized legends.
Founded in 2011, the magazine was created with a simple but powerful mission: to preserve the stories behind the music while creating opportunities for artists to be discovered, celebrated, and remembered. What began as a beautifully produced, coffee table-quality publication quickly evolved into something much larger a trusted voice within the contemporary jazz, smooth jazz, R&B, soul, funk, and independent music communities. Printed on premium stock and thoughtfully designed from cover to cover, every edition reflected our belief that artists deserved editorial excellence equal to the music they created., From 2011 through 2017, CoffeeTalk Jazz Magazine was published in both beautifully printed collector editions and digital formats, allowing readers around the world to experience every cover story, feature, and exclusive interview. As media evolved, so did we. Beginning in 2017, the magazine expanded its digital footprint, reaching readers across more than 65 countries while continuing to preserve the thoughtful storytelling that became the CoffeeTalk signature.
Over the years, more than 300,000 magazines found their way into the hands of music lovers, collectors, educators, and fans around the world. More importantly, every magazine purchased helped create opportunities far beyond its pages.
Proceeds supported the Edward B. Bass Gifted Music Foundation for Children, helping introduce music education to young people and supporting five adopted urban schools through career days, educational programs, and live appearances from professional musicians. Together, we reminded students that music is more than entertainment it is education, opportunity, discipline, and hope.
Throughout its remarkable run, CoffeeTalk Jazz Magazine proudly featured an extraordinary community of artists whose music helped shape generations. Our covers and editorial features celebrated acclaimed musicians including Paul Jackson Jr., Dave Koz, Gerald Albright, Chaka Khan, Esperanza Spalding, Terri Lyne Carrington, the late Dr. Geri Allen, David Benoit, Greg Adams, Fourplay, Diane Schuur, Rod Tate, Dianne Shuur and countless emerging independent artists whose stories deserved to be told alongside the industry's most celebrated names. Each issue represented more than a publication. It became a permanent record of artistic excellence.
A place where careers were documented, milestones were celebrated, and audiences discovered remarkable musicians whose stories may otherwise have gone untold. In June 2025, CoffeeTalk Jazz Magazine published its final edition. The decision was not an ending it was an evolution. As CoffeeTalk Media continued to expand into event production, artist marketing, red carpet coverage, on-location interviews, podcasting, media partnerships, and live storytelling experiences, we chose to dedicate our full attention to meeting artists where music is happening today. Today, that same commitment lives on through CoffeeTalk Music Marketing.
We continue to champion artists through live events, artist interviews, media coverage, professional marketing, public relations, branding, and strategic storytelling-creating meaningful connections between artists, audiences, and the music that brings them together. To every artist who trusted us with your story...To every reader who welcomed us into your home...
To every musician who believed in our mission...Thank you.
CoffeeTalk Jazz Magazine may have completed its final chapter, in June 2025 but the legacy created continues to inspire everything we do. Because great music deserves to be remembered. And great stories deserve to be told.
